Blogging A Boycott = Blogcott!

Coined by the famed wordsmith, novelist, and screenwriter Jordan Roter, a Blogcott is, simply put, a blog with which one chooses to vocally boycott something. I suppose it could also be a blog about boycotts or a blog during a boycott or boycotting a blog you'd otherwise be writing if you weren't in the middle of boycotting it, so take your pick.

In fact, if anyone's got any great boycotts going on, join the blogcotting fun.

It also sounds a bit like a horrible jungle disease:

"I went to Papua New Guinea, and all I got was this debilitating case of blogcott."

Also, a Star Wars character:

Han Solo slid into the booth across from Blogcott, his pistol at the ready in case the twelve-legged sociopathic alien might try some funny business. Blogcott belched.

Alternately, it sounds like the way my 20-month old might say 'pocket', except we don't really know, because while she says many, many things, 'pocket' isn't one of them.

Yet.

Blogcott!

what a novel idea you have here, good sir. Only one small problem tugs at my insides. If suddenly the idea gets released that people can boycott something without even leaving their own homes, without even standing up, why, who knows what calamity that would cause?

Airplanes would crashes, mass choas would be caused, the world would end!

Other than that though, good idea.
